Hyperbaric Medicine

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is an effective supplemental treatment for those wounds that do not respond to more traditional wound care treatments. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy exposes a patient to 100 percent oxygen at a pressure greater than atmospheric pressure.

This increases oxygen levels to stimulate the formation of new capillaries on poorly perfused wounds. The improved blood flow greatly promotes healing and favorable patient outcomes. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is a proven technology that has been utilized in the United States for nearly 40 years.
