Having surgery can be a stressful time. That's why we try to make it as easy and stress-free as possible for you. Our highly-qualified team of professionals will provide you not only with exceptional surgical care, but strive to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Here are some tips to help you prepare:

The Preoperative Visit: Your surgeon's office will schedule a time prior to your procedure for preoperative lab tests and any other necessary pre-surgery work. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and to talk with one of our perioperative nurses. Please bring your insurance card(s) or insurance information in addition to a list of all current medications, including over-the-counter medications. If you have any questions about your pre-operative appointment, call: 828.681.2426.

Prescriptions: Fletcher Community Pharmacy, located in the Park Ridge Medical Office Building, offers extended services to outpatient surgery patients. Our nurses can phone in your prescriptions. Fletcher Community Pharmacy has hospital delivery and drive-through window services available.

Medications: Please follow the instructions given to you by your surgeon and/or perioperative nurse about your medication, skin care and bowel preparations.
