Hendersonville, N.C. (July 16, 2010)– Park Ridge Health is pleased to offer a FREE Lunch & Learn presentation entitled “The Eyes Have It!” presented by Samuel Navon, M.D., PhD, of Carolina Ophthalmology on Tuesday, August 3, at noon at Lelia Patterson Center in Fletcher. The presentation will include information on eye anatomy, discuss a variety of issues within the eye, as well as new ophthalmologic treatment options. The presentation and the lunch are both free and open to the public. Participants must RSVP first by calling 828.687.3947, as space is limited.

Dr. Samuel Navon is a board-certified Ophthalmologist. He earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester School in New York and holds a PhD in Biophysics for eye research from the University of California - Los Angeles. Dr. Navon completed his residency at Harvard Medical School in Boston, where he served as Chief Resident.  Additionally, he completed a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary.
