7/1  EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR

Responsible for 24 hour management of Emergency Department. Requirements include BSN and NC, RN unrestricted license and recent experience as Emergency Department Nursing Director. Prefer candidate to have a Master Degree in Nursing or Related field.  FT

 

8/10 BEHAVIORAL HEALTH NURSE, RN

Provides direct patient care in the Behavioral Health setting. Provide assessment and planning for individualized patient care. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition and responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Requirements include current unrestricted NC, RN license. (2) FT, (2) PT, (2) PRN


8/17 ICU-TELEMETRY NURSE, RN

Provide direct and indirect care in acute critical care setting. Determine priorities of care based on physical or psychosocial needs. Ability to formulate an individualized plan of care, evaluate for effectiveness and revise as needed. Requirements include current unrestricted NC, RN license. Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac monitoring and identify dysrhythmias and appropriate treatment. BLS required. FT 

 

8/24 RN FACILITY COORDINATOR

This new position in Geriatrics will oversee outpatient facility relationships for both PRH Psychiatric service line as well as our Geriatrics service. Responsible for centrally triaging clinical calls from both ALF's and SNF's, scheduling patients for both mid-levels and physicians in collaboration with office receptionist and facilities, and performing liaison activities with each facility location. Requirements include a 2-year nursing degree, with current, unrestricted licensure in North Carolina. Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as critical thinking/judgment experience in recent health provider role. Must consistently demonstrate PRH pillar behaviors in all settings for liaison role and working with service team members. Prefer candidate Computer skills in Excel and Word and training/knowledge of Cerner and NextGen Systems. FT

 

8/10 CASE MANAGER/ HOUSE SUPERVISOR

Needed to provide case management and utilization review for admission and continued stay criteria. DC screening and planning. Frequent communication with other healthcare providers including clinicians and physicians. House Supervisor responsibilities include after hours access to departments, customer service response and bed management. Requirements include current unrestricted NC, RN license with at least 5 years clinical experience and 1 year of Case Management or Utilization Review. Prefer candidate to have supervisory experience. Electronic Medical Record experience and Interqual or Milliman knowledge. Department operates 24/7 and open availability required. PT, PRN

 

8/17 ICU-TELEMETRY CNA I or CNA II

Provides direct or indirect patient care under the direction of a RN or physician. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care and emotional support. Contributes relevant and appropriate information to the RN for revision of the plan of care. Requirements include a current unrestricted NC Certified Nursing Assistant license. Provides care which may include bed bath, oral hygiene, back rubs, peri care, lifting/turning patients applying/utilizing special lift equipment. BLS required. FT 

  

8/17 HOME HEALTH CNA

Perform essential duties of personal care which might be given to convalescent, chronically ill or disabled persons in their homes. Attempt to assist individuals and families to assume responsibilities toward self-care. Help the well family members to carry their share of the responsibilities and encourage the disabled member to participate in the life of the family. Requirements include a current unrestricted NC Certified Nursing Assistant license and current BLS certification. Must have valid state driver license and reliable automobile, current automobile insurance and willing to operate personal car necessitated by nature of job is required. FT

6/22 VICE PRESIDENT OF PHYSICIAN SERVICES

This position requires experience in contract negotiations, physician practice fiscal and operations management, physician practice billing and reimbursement issues, physician business development and service lines. Also requires demonstrated experience in leadership, strategic planning and successful accomplishment of strategic initiatives. Position is responsible for over 60 employed physicians and mid-level providers. Requires a minimum of five years experience and bachelor’s degree in a related field. FT

 

7/14 BLOOD BANK SUPERVISOR

Responsible for providing supervision of the Blood Bank and Coagulation Department. Responsible for teaching, training, inventory control, competency of all employees that float into the department, review all work performed and quality control on a daily basis. Requirements include BS MT (ASCP) with 3-5 years experience required. SBB preferred with 3-5 years of supervisory experience and knowledge of AABB standards for accreditation. Cerner LIS, Excel, Word and Access preferred. Experience with student training curriculums preferred. FT

 

8/10 SOCIAL WORKER/ THERAPIST- PHP/IOP

Responsible for providing social service functions in the behavioral health care setting. Provide assessments, therapies and case management to a patients and families. Is a resource person to healthcare professionals concerning psycho-social problems. Coordinates discharge planning beginning on the date of admission for each patient. Provides group therapy and oversight of the PHP/IOP program according to programming needs, and as directed by the Department Director. Requirements include MSW. Prefer candidate to have LCSW. PRN

 

8/17 OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST/ HOME HEALTH

Responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing and administering of occupational therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. Administer treatments and occupational agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability. Assist patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of the capabilities. Requirements: Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association required. Three years of previous experience in all aspects of occupational therapy preferred. Current BLS certification required. PRN

 

7/14 MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST/ MEDICAL TECHNICIAN

Perform lab tests in all disciplines of the department. Requirements: Associate or Bachelors with national certification from ASCP or equivalent.  Prefer candidate to have 3-5 years experience in all areas and have function as a generalist in a lab before.  Cerner LIS experience Preferred. PT

 

7/14 PHLEBOTOMIST

Perform blood draws on inpatient and outpatients. Requirements include High School Diploma or Equivalent. Completion of Phlebotomy course and certification preferred. 1-3 years experience preferred. Excellent communication skills, computer requirements for the LIS system is required. Must be willing to work all shifts and days to include weekends. Must be available to respond on short notice. (2) PRN

 

8/3 NUTRITIONAL SERVICES SANITATION SUPERVISOR

Responsible for supervision and training of dish room and pot room employees. Supervises and performs routine maintenance including cleaning and operation of dish and pot washing machines and other kitchen equipment. Supervises and performs daily closing duties (wipe down, floors, coolers, freezer, store room). Positive attitude and strong team building and leadership skills required. Two (2) years food service experience, two (2) years management experience required. ServSafe Certification preferred.  FT

 

8/17 CHEF

Responsible for preparing food for patients, associates, and catering. Requirements include High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must have 2 years experience in a professional kitchen. PRN

 

8/17 ROOM SERVICE ATTENDANT

Prepare and deliver patient trays. Take food orders for OB room service. Assist Chef in preparing salads, plating desserts, and other cold food prep. Requirements include High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prefer candidate to have 2 years server experience. FT, PRN

  

MEDICAL ASSOCIATE POSITION

 

8/17 CERTIFIED CODER- PRMA BILLING

Responsible for reviewing medical records and charge tickets for accurate coding for multi specialty practice. Serve as a coding resource to the central billing office as well as to all physicians and physician office staff. Assist in the development of training material and conduct in-house training for staff and physicians. Requirements include current Certified Coding Certificate. Minimum of 5 years in a Multi-specialty physician environment. Strong communication skills. FT 

 

8/17 PATIENT ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE

Responsible for providing follow-up on insurance claims filed to Medicare, Medicaid or commercial carriers for assigned provider; ensuring that payments are collected promptly by working the accounts according to the specified procedures. This position is located in the SESM office. Requirements include High school graduate or equivalent required. Experience with medical terminology, insurance reimbursement, ICD-9 and CPT coding required. Minimum 3 years A/R follow up experience. FT

  

8/24 PATIENT ACCESS REPRESENTATIVE - SESM

Responsible for working as the registration/ charge entry clerk in a fast pace Sports Medicine Clinic. Duties include entering demographics and insurance information and posting charges into the Next Gen computer system. Candidate will also provide assistance with other office duties as assigned. Requirements include High School diploma or equivalent. Must have 1 year medical office experience. FT

 

8/24 MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Responsible for assisting physicians with procedures, triage patient phone calls, call patients with results, order supplies, and schedule appointment for an OB/GYN office. Requirements include High School diploma or equivalent. Must have 1 year medical office experience. Prefer candidate to phlebotomy skills and OB/GYN office experience.  (2) FT

 

7/14 MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Responsible for assisting physician with patients, getting labs and performing blood draws, and other duties as assigned for a busy Women’s Services office. Requirements include High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prefer candidate to have Phlebotomy skills. Must have 1 year medical office experience.  FT

 

7/30  MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST

Responsible for answering phones, check in, check out, collect co-pays and payments, scheduling appointments, filing, and assisting with other receptionist duties as assigned. Must be able to multi-task and be detail-oriented. Requirements include High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must have one year of medical office experience.  FT
