This unique program provides FREE health screenings and education programs to more than 1,500 women in Henderson and South Buncombe counties who have limited access to health care. The program targets women ages 40 to 60 and provides free EKG, blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose screenings and BMI measurements with a post-screening review of the results.

Cardiovascular disease and stoke are the most prevalent causes of death for women in America. You know your handicap, but do you know your heart health numbers?  The Golf Fore Your Heart Committee challenges you, your friends and the members of your golf league to have a day of golfing fun, support this worthwhile endeavor and learn ways to improve your heart health.
