Hendersonville, N.C. (January 11, 2012) – It’s an underreported health crisis: More than 42 million women are currently living with heart disease, the leading cause of death in women. In fact, more women than men die of heart disease every year, according to The National Coalition for Women With Heart Disease. Park Ridge Wellness wants to invite you to learn more about this silent killer at the free presentation “Women’s Heart Health,” which will take place Thursday, Feb. 2 at 6 p.m. at The Health Adventure, located in the Biltmore Square Mall – Exit 33 from I-26.

Park Ridge Wellness Coordinator, Julie Palmer, will share how your lifestyle may be putting you at risk for heart disease, and what to do to protect your health. Pre-registration for “Women’s Heart Health” is required by Tuesday, Jan. 31. To sign up, please call 855.PRH.LIFE (774-5433).
